SAVI TALKS: Equity in Economic Opportunity, Social Mobility, and Race Thursday, March 25

The income of the family you’re born into makes a big difference in how much you will earn as an adult. But, your race and the place your grow up also affect your economic opportunity.

Join The Polis Center and WFYI on Thursday, March 25, at 9:30 a.m. as Polis Center analysts Matt Nowlin and Rebecca Nannery and Erik Steiner, Stanford University co-director of the Spatial History Project, share highlights from their research into economic opportunity in Indianapolis and social mobility and how it varies by neighborhood and race. Jill Sheridan, Health and Science Reporter for Indiana Public Broadcasting, WFYI, will moderate a panel discussion on those findings.
